General
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (Swiss Data Protection Act, DPA), everyone has the right to privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. The operators of this site take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy.
In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect our databases as best as possible from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g., via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against third‑party access is not possible.
By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of data as described below. Visiting this website is generally possible without registration. Data such as accessed pages, file names, date, and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes—without direct personal reference. Personal data (e.g., name, address, email) are collected on a voluntary basis whenever possible and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Processing of Personal Data
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A ‘data subject’ is someone whose personal data is processed. Processing includes handling personal data by any means—especially storage, transfer, retrieval, deletion, retention, alteration, destruction, and use.
We process personal data in compliance with Swiss data protection law. If the EU GDPR applies, we additionally rely on Article 6(1) GDPR:
(a) with your consent
(b) to fulfill a contract or pre‑contractual measures
(c) to comply with a legal obligation under EU or applicable local law
(d) to protect vital interests of you or another person
(f) for our legitimate interests or those of third parties, unless overridden by your rights (e.g., providing the website, information security, enforcing legal claims, compliance with Swiss law).
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for each purpose, and limit processing when long‑term retention is required by law.
Cookies
This website uses cookies—small text files stored on your device to remember specific user‑related information during your visit. They help analyze frequency of site usage, user behavior, and improve usability. Cookies remain between sessions and can be read on return visits. To avoid this, adjust your browser to reject cookies.
To opt out of advertising/marketing cookies, you can use:
US: aboutads.info/choices/
EU: youronlinechoices.com
You can also disable cookies in your browser settings—but some website functions may then be limited.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security and to protect confidential content (e.g., inquiries you send via our site), we use SSL/TLS encryption. This is indicated by “https://” and a padlock icon in your browser. When active, data you transmit cannot be read by third parties.
Server Log Files
Our provider automatically collects and stores server log data sent by your browser, including:
browser type/version
operating system
referrer URL
hostname
time of request
These logs cannot be linked to individuals. We don’t merge them with other data unless we suspect misuse.
Third‑Party Services
We may use Google Maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA, and YouTube embeds. These U.S.-based services use cookies to transfer data to Google in the U.S. We assume no personal tracking occurs solely by visiting our site. Google adheres to the EU‑U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield. Please refer to Google's privacy policies for details.
Contact Form
If you send a request via our contact form, the data you provide (including contact info) will be stored to process your inquiry or any follow-ups. We do not share this information without your consent.
Newsletter
To receive our newsletter, we require your email and verification that you own it and agree to receive it. No other data is collected. We use it solely to send the newsletter and do not share it. You can unsubscribe anytime (e.g., via the “unsubscribe” link).
Comments
When you post a comment, we store your comment, timestamp, email address, and username (if not anonymous). We also store your IP address to handle potential legal matters (e.g., defamation). If you subscribe to comment replies, we’ll send a confirmation email and you can opt out at any time.
Your Rights
Right to confirmation: You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data.
Right of access: You can request free access to your stored data at any time, including details such as the purpose, categories, recipients, storage period, your rights, and data origin if not provided by you.
Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): You may request deletion of your personal data if no longer necessary, consent is withdrawn, processing is unlawful, or other legal grounds apply.
Right to restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent: You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
Objection Email
Unsolicited advertising or information by email is forbidden. Operators reserve the right to take legal action in case of spam.
Paid Services
For paid services, we require additional data (e.g., payment details) to fulfill your order. This data is stored until legal retention obligations expire.
Copyright
All content, images, photos, and files on this website are owned by the operator or explicitly named rights holders. Reproduction requires prior written consent. Unauthorized use may be punishable or subject to damage claims.
Disclaimer 1
All info on our website is carefully checked. We strive for accuracy and completeness but cannot guarantee it. We exclude liability for damages resulting from use, misuse, or errors. We may change or remove content without notice. Accessing this website is at your own risk. We are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages linked to this website, nor for third-party sites linked. We disclaim responsibility for linked content.
Google Maps
By using Google Maps on this site, Google receives information about your visit, whether you’re logged in or not. Logged‑in if you want to associate data with your account, log out first. Google uses cookies to create user profiles for advertising, market research, etc. To object, visit Google’s privacy site.
Google Ads
We use Google conversion tracking. If you clicked a Google ad and visit our site pages, a cookie is set for 30 days to attribute the conversion. Cookies are not personally identifiable. You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or blocking “googleleadservices.com”. Don’t delete the opt‑out cookie if you wish to remain opted out; if deleted, it must be reapplied.
Google reCAPTCHA
Our site uses Google Ireland Limited’s reCAPTCHA to distinguish human from automated input. This involves sending your IP address (masked within the EU/EEA). In rare cases, full IP is transmitted to the U.S. on Google’s behalf under EU‑U.S. Privacy Shield. By using the checkbox, you consent based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(a). You can revoke consent anytime without affecting previous data processing. For more info, refer to Google’s reCAPTCHA privacy policy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for web analytics. If data controller is outside EEA/Switzerland, processing is through Google LLC. We use anonymized IP (“_anonymizeIp()”) to ensure no personal identification. In rare cases, full IP may be sent to a U.S. server then shortened. Uses are for reporting site usage and related services under Privacy Shield. Google Analytics uses cookies. To disable, use your browser settings or install Google’s opt‑out plugin or click the provided opt‑out link. Note opt‑out cookies are browser/device‑specific.
Facebook
We use Facebook plugins. When you visit pages with Facebook features, data is sent to Facebook and may be linked to your account. To prevent this, log out of Facebook before visiting our site. Interactions (e.g., “Like”, comment) are sent to Facebook. See Facebook’s privacy policy for more info.
Twitter
We use Twitter plugins; these send data to Twitter and may link to your account. To avoid this, log out before visiting. Interactions (e.g., “Re‑Tweet”) are sent to Twitter. See Twitter’s privacy policy for details.
Instagram
Our site includes Instagram features. If logged into Instagram, actions may be linked to your account. We don’t receive details of the transferred data. See Instagram’s privacy policy for more info.
LinkedIn
Our site uses LinkedIn marketing tools with cookies for analytics, ad performance, and retargeting. Data like operating system, browser, referrer URL, visited pages, and timestamps are pseudonymously captured and sent to LinkedIn in the U.S. LinkedIn doesn’t store your name or email—only cookie-linked identifiers. You can disable cookies in your browser and opt out via LinkedIn’s settings. LinkedIn Analytics and standard contractual clauses ensure legal cross‑border data transfers. Basis: Article 6(1)(a) for consent, and (f) for analytics/legal use.
YouTube
We embed YouTube content (by Google Ireland). Use is governed by YouTube’s terms of service. Google’s privacy policy explains how it processes personal data when you use YouTube.
Vimeo
We embed Vimeo videos. Your browser connects directly to Vimeo, sending visit information and IP. Interactions (e.g., play button) are recorded. If logged in, Vimeo may associate data with your account. We don’t have access to Vimeo’s Google Analytics tracking via iframe. To block, disable Google Analytics or opt‑out via the provided link.
